- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother (89 years) was here post-op after breast cancer surgery. I (or some other family member) was with her over the two days she was recovering. The nursing staff would only come to the room if we went to actually fetch them. Call lights, IVs running out, needing to go to the bathroom had no effect -- even after waiting more than 15 minutes. So we'd finally go out to the nurses station and there would be several nurses there merrily chatting away. They were supposed to get her up and around the next day, but that never happened. We finally asked if we could take her on a walk and they were happy for us to do that. We seriously wonder what kind of care she would have received had not family members been there to advocate for her. I would rate this at 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest number they will let me give them.June 16, 2017by Kenton Lynne
